For this one, the changes seem a little subtle but I applied Artistic/Oilify/Van Gogh.

The changes to this one are subtle as well. I applied Artistic/Apply Canvas (Depth of 5). The apply canvas filter is one of my favorite ones.

I had fun with this one. The possibilities truly are endless! I applied Light & Shadow/Gradient Flare/Hidden Planet. I also applied Distort/Page Curl with a duplicate layer underneath of the exact same photo.
it looks like you had a lot of fun experimenting with and discovering these filters. The possibilities are endless with these and it is best not to get carried away with them too much. Overuse of filters can make your work appear hokey… Now if that is your intention then there is no problem.
ReplyDeleteI agree. You could certainly hokey up any photo almost without trying with all of these filters. I kind of did that to the last one here simply due to the first two being not that noticeable.
DeleteI really enjoyed your last filter of the image looking like a page being turned! Cool idea and I am also a beginner with all this too.. keep being patient & keep plugging away you are doing a wonderful job!!!
